Abstract: The Visual Quantum Mechanics (VQM) project has been field tested by numerous high school and college instructors throughout the duration of the project. Forming collaborations with a local Community College (Cloud County Community College) to provide feedback for work in progress has enabled members of the Physics Education research group at Kansas State University to receive valuable data as to the integration of such materials into curriculum at the Community College Level. After a brief overview of the project, a field-tester of the project will describe his experiences with integrating these instructional materials into his physical science, chemistry and physics classrooms. We will also present the effect of using these materials on student interest and classroom interaction, as well as their conceptual understanding. The logistics of using these materials, and potential problems, as well as possible workarounds will be described.
