Abstract: There are a limited number of positions available for undergraduates to participate in this international study program (2000-2001). A group of 10 physics educators from six countries are collaborating to produce a set of multimedia interactive lessons centered on the scientific and cultural aspects of the bicycle. We are working with students using techniques such as digital video capture, Calculator-Based Laboratory measuring tools, Interactive Physics simulations, etc., to develop instructional materials. Students will receive a $2500 stipend for three months at one of the European member institutions: University of Amsterdam, University of Athens, University of Vienna, University of Kiel (Germany), and University of Jyväskylä (Finland).
