| Abstract: | After Class Evaluation (ACE), a hybridized form of Just-in-Time Teaching, has been an active learning/assessment process in physics and physical science classes at Cloud County Community College for the past several years. In an effort to gain research data on student misconceptions in the topical area of magnetism, student surveys via the computer are being undertaken using these ACE exercises. The development of the exercises was a part of the broader creation of a magnetism unit based on physics education research. Examples and information obtained will be discussed during this presentation. |
