One common model that does not reflect experimental results is excited electrons
making a transition from a high energy state to several lower states. Up until you graph
the unaccepted model, it appears to work (you can find all the spectra using the unaccepted
model just as well in the Hydrogen Spectroscopy Program).
It is important to have a working model to find the relationship between Energy and Energy Levels.
