Getting to Cardwell Hall from the Holiday Inn (closest hotel)

Kansas State University

None of the driving direction Web sites seem to be able to get the last bit correct.

Driving
The Holiday Inn is at the corner of 17th Street and Anderson Avenue.  Drive west on Anderson Avenue for one block to a traffic light at Denison Avenue.  Turn right (north) at the traffic light onto Denison.  continue to the second traffic light (Claflin Street).  Turn right (east) onto Claflin.

Continue past a T-intersection with the street going to the right.  Then, turn right into the first drive on the right. There should be a garage door directly in front of you. Just to the left of the garage door is a parking spot marked "Physics Client." That spot is our visitors parking.

Physics is in Cardwell Hall. It will be in front and a little bit to the left of you. (Telescope dome on the roof.) The PER group is located on the fourth floor; the Physics Department office is room 116.

.

Walking
Walk north on 17th street, the street just to the west of the Ramada.  After a couple fo blocks the street will end, but just keep going on the sidewalk, but not the bike lanes.  After the street reappears, continue for about a block and you will see a stone sign for Cardwell Hall. (Telescope dome on the roof.) The PER group is located on the fourth floor; the Physics Department office is room 116.
