Abstract:  As a discipline, physics relies heavily on other fields. Physics education research can benefit from other disciplines' education research in specific content areas, theory development, and methodology. In this roundtable, we will discuss possible cross-pollination avenues between physics education researchers and education researchers in other fields. .
